The manager of the shop here was rude to both myself and my mother in two separate incidents within minutes of each other. The antithesis of Christian behaviour in such a place. We used to shop here often but will not be doing so again. So disappointed that this attitude has stopped our enjoyment of such a beautiful building.Staff inside the cathedral and restaurant are lovely, but the complete picture has been spoilt by rude shop management........
Not a fan of the meaning of churches or what they stand for but the architecture is outstanding, as like all cathedrals it's stunning. The stonework is amazing and a feat of engineering. Beautiful.
Stunning. Beautiful cathedral, peaceful. Very accomodating, pram/disabled access, lovely staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Definitely a must visit when in the Truro area.
Great atmosphere and very well main maintained cathedral. Great acoustics for choral performances. There is also a good souvenir shop though, as it is in the heart of the city, you are surrounded by shops. The restaurant supports the cathedral and offers a daily range of good tasting, reasonably priced options though, as I have coeliac hence must have gluten free, some of that is anecdotal based on comments of friends we have taken.
The centre of Cornwall's C of E area. Impressive outside and understated inside. The old church of St Mary is still attached to the south side and completely different to the cathedral itself. It was nice to visit without having to pay an admission fee, donations are easily placed in boxes located around the place.The restaurant attached is a complete rewind to the 1970's complete with hospital type partition curtains and pine effect ceiling! Maybe refurbishment would enhance the restaurant as a place to visit.
