Don't bother with this place. Chips were tough, fish was ok but small and it was rather expensive. The girl that served us was so miserable, rude and with attitude.
Okay meal, but left out 4 portions of chips from our meal... Not happy
Can't believe how rude the staff are in this place. Was in Truro for the reindeer parade with the family including young children and the 2 girls that served us were very rude and impolite also upset another lady whilst we was waiting for food. The 2 girls serving can not be named as they wasn't wearing name badges but one had dirty looking pink hair and the other had blue hair! Very poor customer service and will never go back there. Terrible experience. Will make sure we walk the extra few minutes and go to Burger King next time we in Truro at least the staff there have manners and treat you with a bit of respect.
Considering it's nearly 9.00 for large cod & chips, they could actually serve you a large cod instead of a medium. Fish sizes served to our family were inconsistent. Also the oil was overused and left a bad taste on the palate. This place is busy all day and night, being in the best position in Truro, so they can easily afford to do better food at these prices (& maybe a lemon wedge!). Obviously just out to fleece the passing tourists. Other than oil quality and fish size, the cod and chips tasted OK. I suppose I've had worse, in back street chippies who charge a lot less.
