I remember popping in around 3/4 times a year and found it interesting. But as a Cornishman born and bred I haven't been in for 8/10 years as I can't see the need to pay for the pleasure and when I did go in years ago was met with there's a charge.Short but not so sweet, and basically dismissed.

Great place to take the family for some local & world history. Everyone had a good time finding out about different things that caught their interest

More to take in than one visit will allow (it's a brain thing) so have purchased a season ticket. Good value. Massive array of minerals on show amongst other mining history. Love the old tin moulds for axe making + more. Large art shop / cafe with lounge like seating and wood burner. Recommend popping in here even if you're not going to the museum.

It's a great place to visit, they had a Christmas craft fair on when we were there last time, it's a interesting place for kids and adults. It use to be free, but there is a charge for adults, I think it's 5. Kids are free.

Excellent museum for all ages. Beautifully presented over two floors with most interesting show cases. Naturally a big emphasis on the history, industrial heritage and social life of Cornwall. There's a lovely cafe serving excellent food & drinks together with a large art shop and souvenir/ muse up shop area.Definitely worth 2-3 hours of your time. I'm not a museum fan usually, but this one is wonderful.
