What makes this place so special isn't just the wide selection, the good value or the easy access and free parking its the people who work there - they are so helpful and knowledgeable, they go out of their way to find the right thing for you and they're always so happy and hard working. I must in particular mention Abbey (I hope I've spelt that correctly) who is something of a Wonder Woman - she is super helpful and never gives up. Also Kelly who is lovely, knows everything and everyone. If Pets at Home have a Team of the Year award they should give it to the Truro store right NOW.
Went with my dog for his annual check up and vaccination , he's getting used it. There's a very good selection of all things you could possibly need and not just for dogs and cats. I find the items I usually get for my dog are competitively priced and it's easy to get to by bus.
Its a pet shop! They sell everything you need if u have a cat/dog. You can also buy a rabbit or hamster. Plus dogs are allowed in the shop. My 4 cocker spaniels had a great time sniffing all the treats
Pleasant store ambience and easy to get around.Average sized Pets at Home store on a retail park, just off the A390.There is a large, level, free car park outside with disabled parking right beside the store entrance.The store is fully accessible, with automatic doors and decent width aisles.It has the usual broad range of pet products and we had no problem finding what we wanted.In addition we were pleased to find dog coats now available in size XL. Our dog is a Lab/German Shepherd cross. The coat just fits, but maybe there's room for an XXL size?Checkout was quick and the lady was friendly and cheerful.
Nice clean store with a wide range of products. The staff are always helpful and friendly. It's dog friendly, so makes buying collars, harnesses etc easier, as you can try before you buy. Pets at Home have a good refund policy with no quibble returns if you buy the wrong product.
