Expensive but the food is so good. A little cramped and noisy as it's always so busy
We had a table booked for 12noon and had pre ordered our food as there was 10 of us. We were eventually served at 1.30! I had poached salmon & prawns from the Christmas menu and couldn't fault the meal - it was delicious but because of the long delay several of the party left without having desserts or coffee. I was informed later that those who did stay, enjoyed their desserts 'on the house' as compensation. Apparently the delay was due to a staffing problem!
Great food. We had a late lunch - calamari, sardine and the Bouillabaisse. Divine. Perfectly cooked. The service was great and the restaurant was very inviting.
Had a wonderful meal here last week. Steak was perfect, succulent and soft, chips were fab, crispy and just enough. We also had a chicken and bacon salad with the cooked veg and that was amazing too. Just wish we weren't driving so could have had a glass or two of wine.Had a great vibe and the staff were great.Would definitely go back
First impressions were terrible. Sat down & served by a trainee who clearly knew nothing & couldn't be bothered to ask. I'm dairy free so had questions.. Ended up ordering what I thought may be the safe option instead of what I wanted because the child couldn't be bothered to ask what was in something or if substitutes could be made. Could have ended badly if I had no knowledge of food.Once we were rid of him, all great though. The real staff were friendly & knowledgeable about what they had on offer. The food certainly didn't disappoint. Highly recommend. Until our first plate came out we were worried. I understand people need to train, but to train you need to ask questions to gain knowledge. Loose the kid & you're great!
