Very friendly and helpful owners. Quiet, peaceful. Good facilities, clean and warm shower/toilet.

We went in late October 2018. After driving around Truro in a Camper Van for hours trying to find a site which was open we found this one and rocked up about 8:30pm - we had the whole site to ourselves. The owner was very welcoming and came to us on site to collect the very reasonable fee. The facilities are few but high quality and very clean! The site is small only about 20 pitches some hook up some not. It has been landscaped to provide flat pitches. If you go hook up there is a very good 'kitchen' including kettle, microwave and washing machine. It is perfectly located near Truro but accessed down lanes. Suggestion - make the toilets unisex so there are more available for everyone to use. Overall an awesome little site that saved us camping in layby!

I wasn't stopping there .. was only visiting.. can't comment on things really site wise.. looked nice was very clean and well kept ..pitch's seemed well laid out ..no idea how close they are tho as there's was only a few vans on site and they was well spread out ..it is in middle of nowhere so nature is all around idea for bird watching and seeing things.. peaceful and quite ..did notice rds or lanes are tight to get to it ..was thinking I'd hate to b towing a caravan and meeting another one coming oppersite way ..no passing points ..did notice they store caravans on site so that could be advantageous ..my mate did say was cheap ..it's quite close to perranporth and newquay with turo about 10 miles or so away ..

Very spacious and great views a good campsite for all the family close to most places around ten minutes either way

Came across this site on UK Campsite. It has to be the cheapest in Cornwall. Usually cheapest = rubbish. Not in this case. This was a fantastic small site. There are three toilets, one ladies one gents and one disabled. In reality, the toilets could be unisex as they are all the same except the disabled. Loads of hot water. Shower is in each toilet and is fantastic hot and not a dribble a proper shower. There is a kitchen with electric for those paying. We made use of the kettle, so much easier than boiling a pan. The campsite is within 15 minutes of Truro. Well Its well sited for most things we had in mind, it depends on what you want to do.Owners are lovely and friendly and couldn't be more welcoming. We were told a tale of a family asked to leave as they hadn't controlled their children who were damaging the trees. We had three children and the two oldest were cycling around and had no problems. Just be a parent and you'll have no problems. Best site around. Thank you Tolcarne a great week.
