Great tour. Just myself and a friend. Got to ask lots of awkward questions. Emma, the the tour guide, was able to answer all. Then to enjoy a couple of pints after the tour. Perfect!
Fine local brewer producing a good range of ales my preffered ones are lushington pale als and was really impresssed with penny come quick stout the breaery is easily accessable from the town
Me n the Mrs were the only ones there on the tour and what a welcome, the boys there couldn't do enough for us. Friendly and knowledgeable and customer service was brilliant. The tour is well worth the money and and really informative. The little shop there is fantastic and sells everything they brew. Missed out on a cuddle with Betty Stoggs, but made up for it with a few bottles of her beer instead.
I've been a few times to the brewery tour, and I'm looking forward to the next time I get chance. I'll echo the previous reviewers comment about every member of staff being happy. It is obviously a very well run family business, that takes care of people, visitors included. As mentioned by many, the "sampling" is very generous, worth the entry fee alone. One thing, they offer a Cornish pasty to go with your samples. It must contain weapons grade uranium? When It eventually cooled down enough to put your teeth into, it was delicious though.I'd recommend you have a good meal before you visit ie, line your stomach, and while there, take advantage of the good prices in their small shop.Highly recommend a visit.
