If you want to buy an Apple device or are willing to pay for repairs. I am sure Stormfront is an excellent outlet. However, their status as Apple authorised agents is questionable.Unfortunately, Stormfront (Truro) was unhelpful with my issue. I had a phone with a recognised Apple fault which meant phone would be exchanged free of charge by Apple. An appointment was set up through Apple support to deliver phone to Stormfront (Truro) for them to forward to Apple. Because phone was out of warranty, Stormfront refused to deal with it (other than opening to confirm genuine Apple), insisting that they were unable to send anything back to Apple that wasn't covered by the manufacturer's Warranty. I then had to make the journey to Plymouth from Penzance to deal with the issue (4 hours return on the train). Apple store agent in Plymouth stated that Stormfront was an excellent country-wide company, but he had heard lots of negatives about the Truro branch. It is important that Cornwall has access to Apple's services and if this is the best service we can expect I am concerned.
My second visit to the tech people here. First was when they somehow fixed a bricked iPad that everyone else said could not be done. Equally impressed this time. Needed hand holding setting up new (well, for me) iPhone, where I'd locked myself out of iCloud and couldn't remember my security question answers*. Sorted out in three minutes. Also cleared my old phone so I could give it to someone and installed all my apps and set them up. And uber friendly too. Can't praise highly enough. (* Oh, the 'beach' answer was 'Juno' btw! Remembered when I got home. That'll teach me to try to be clever)
Staff were unhelpful and almost rude. After booking an talking to employees I was told they could help me fix my iPhone. Then phoned to book a appointment and explained my problem I was bluntly told no we dont do that anymore.... after a long silence I just went ok and put the phone down.
Great service, Tom was great. my Mac Book Pro was stuck on the loading screen and he saved the day by sorting it out. big thanks
